Male Dog aged 6 years 0 months.
Finn was found as a stray but was never reclaimed, and has now come to DBARC to finds a loving permanent home. He is a sensible but lively dog so will need an active and interesting lifestyle, Finn has no history, so we would not place him with children under 12 years, and he is unknown with cats or small animals. While in rescue care, Finn has been OK with other dogs but not particularly interactive with them, and prefers human company. As with many rescue dogs, the stress and trauma in his recent past may cause him to be reactive to other dogs in a new environment, and adopters will need to be ready to help him overcome this should it arise, This may involve seeking professional behavioural help. It is so sad to think that this lovely dog has become abandoned and unwanted, left to fend for himself, and he deserves a caring new home to make up for his misfortunes, with an experienced, previous collie owning adopter. He is an active dog who enjoys his walks, so is looking for an equally active new owner who will give him lots of exercise, and cuddles, and company most of the time.
