HUNTER

Male Dog aged 2 years 4 months.

Handsome Hunter was found as a stray but ws never reclaimed, so now DBARC are seeking a loving permanent home for him. He is a really lovely boy, happy and friendly with everyone he meets, but as he has no long term history, we would not wish to home him with children under 10 years. Hunter is unknown with cats and small animals. He has been very good with other dogs whilst in rescue care. However, as with all rescue dogs, the recent changes and upheavals in life are traumatic, and this can lead to reactive behaviour with new dogs in a new environment. Adopters will need to be ready to help their new friend to cope with this, and this may include seeking professional behavioural help. Hunter travels well in the car. He is happy to walk on the lead but is quite strong and will need some further training. He is a lively and energetic dog who enjoys his walks, and will need an interesting and active lifestyle, as well as lots of cuddles! He will need company most of the time.
