AMY

Female Dog aged 1 year 4 months.

Pretty little Amy was bred to be a working sheepdog but she showed no interest in this career, and found the sheep too frightening! She is a gentle and sensitive dog with a lovely nature, but is not very confident. She is a very loving girl, and will do well in a home with a previous collie owner, as she is a typically intelligent and active dog, needing an outlet for her energies as well as kind and empathic handling to build her confidence. Amy is very good with other dogs but has not lived with cats. As she is very timid, she would do much better with a confident canine companion to show her the ropes. She has not lived with children so we would not wish to place her with youngsters under 12 years. She will need company most of the time.
