MEGAN

Female Dog aged 1 year 1 month.

Megan is a lovely collie type girl who was handed into a dog pound as unwanted. Perhaps she lacked the confidence to be a working dog, as she is a slightly shy dog. She is also quite a calm dog who will wait for affection rather than push herself forward. However, as with any young collie, she is still likely to be quite a high energy dog once she finds her feet in her new home, so adopters need to be ready for this! Megan is good with other dogs, and good around people but as she is a slightly timid dog, we would not wish to place her with children under 12 years. She has no history of living with cats. Megan is a very bright dog, who will need an outlet for her mental energies as well as an active lifestyle in general. She is not suited to someone who has not had dogs before, but will make a wonderful companion for someone who loves smart collies! Training classes will be essential, and will help both her confidence and her happiness. She will need company most of the time.
